Charles Clary’s Memento Morididdle Exhibition in Lake City
ArtFields Collective presents Memento Morididdle, a solo exhibition by Charles Clary, who says, “My work stems from the loss of both my mother and father due to smoking related cancers in February of 2013. Their passing left a deep void in my life that led to my interest in Memento Mori, remembering that one day you will die, and a reinvestigation of my own childhood trauma, abuse, and mortality.” Memento Morididdle is on view through November 14th at the Jones-Carter Gallery in Lake City. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is free. In accordance with city ordinance, guests are encouraged to wear masks.
In concert with Memento Morididdle, ArtFields Collective simultaneously presents Pause | Connect, a group show celebrating community artists, at the TRAX Visual Art Center.
